It’s made from 100% soft silicone and PP all you have to do to attach it to the breast is to squeeze the two circles on the silicone, Position the collector onto the breast skin with the nipple positioned in the center of the opening. Release the squeeze to create suction, then Adjust the position of the bra to secure the breast pump. The milk should flow until you’ve sufficiently pumped. This Manual Wearable Breast Pump does not have mechanical parts or motors. It only needs your hand to create the suction on the unit to get it to work. Breast pumping should not be painful or too uncomfortable. More suction using an electric pump will not make more milk and can cause breast or nipple damage. As a nurse, I don't think it will be good for first-time moms. It doesn't have very strong suction and has no actual pumping action at all. It is a passive collection container. If that is what you want, then this product is great, but I feel its description is a bit ambiguous and confusing for those who are new to breastfeeding.

I’d consider this more of a passive milk collector than a pump. It will probably only work well if you lactate very easily. It would be great for collecting if you are past pumping time or leak easily. It’s priced a bit high for what it is but seems to be decent quality.

This manual breast pump is everything it should be…easy to use, non toxic and a fair price. For any first timers, this pump comes with clear instructions with pictures. Because this is a manual pump, it is easy to stick in a purse or diaper bag and take with you. It is made of a soft silicone. It is a one size fits most breasts.

This product was received as part of a promotion. This is an amazing product! It is not an electric pump by any means. It’s more for “passive” milk collection while baby is nursing on one side while this is attached to the other side. It’s discreet, and will fit into a nursing bra. It collects every precious ounce of milk that would otherwise be lost. It’s BPA, phthalate & lead-free. It allows for easy dispensing of milk into a bottle or collection bag after collecting. It’s easy to care for (i.e. clean) & can be transported anywhere. This is a great gift for nursing mothers!

This pump didn't work for me. It wasn't until I read some comments that I realized this was not so much for pumping but for collecting milk that needs to flow out naturally. It did feel comfortable wearing it.
