Man erhält eine traditionelle Metallkassette mit Gewindebohrern : 1/8'' NPT,1/4'' NPT,3/8'' NPT,1/2'' NPT,3/4'' NPT ,1'' NPT. Die Werkzeuge sind in unbeschichteter Lagerstahl und titanbeschichtete Oberfläche ausgeführt, womit sie sich für die meisten Anwendungen (Baustähle, niedr. leg. Stähle, viele NE Metalle) eignen.Neben Sacklochgewinden kann man mit diesem Werkzeug natürlich auch Durchgangsgewinde anfertigen, die Limitierung liegt hier wie da in der Arbeitstiefe, bedingt durch den verstärkten Schaft der Grössen 1/8'' NPT - 3/4'' NPT, 1''.Fazit: Diese Werkzeuge haben zwar ihren Preis, aber mit Hinblick auf's Ergebnis sollte man sich nicht mit weniger zufrieden geben

Cheap rubbish !!! 1/8 tap didn’t do as much as 3 turns and sheered its threads. Delivered at 19:50 and ruined by 20:00 !!

This is a quality manufactured set of NPT taps! Five sizes in one excellent heavy duty case! This is a GREAT value for the little money spent. As with any tap, you need to remember to use a light machine oil, if possible, for the ease of cutting and to maximize the life of the tool. Excellent cutting ability.

This set of taps arrived in an AMTOVL branded cardboard box containing a rigid plastic case with a sturdy latch that was holding onto the six taps inside. The case isn’t perfect though and upon opening it up, half the taps inside were displaced and physically bumping into each other inside the case, it doesn’t really hold onto the individual taps tightly enough and there is enough excess room for the taps to bang into each other inside, unfortunately.The taps themselves are functional though and do the job just fine on some spare NPT threaded fittings I have lying around. However, they didn’t arrive in the best condition and right out of the packaging they looked quite roughly made in a bunch of ways. Some of the cutting edges have burrs, are marred, rounded or just missing bits in a few spots and there are random surface defects throughout the set. All this is to say that the taps look much different in reality than the computer renderings they’re using for the product images in this listing. All of my images attached to this listing are how they looked fresh out of the packaging.None of the blemishes are significant enough to give me pause trying to use it for the expected job and I have no doubt some of it will actually clean up with a little use as the burrs get knocked down, but the quality is certainly a little hit or miss on the whole set. Given that these are specifically NPT taps I won’t be using them frequently compared to BSPT or BSPP taps as I just don’t work with NPT stuff nearly as often, but it’s nice to have these on hand in the event that I run into something that needs them.The asking price of £25.99 or £22.10 with the current 15% off voucher is probably on the upper limit of what I'd be willing to pay for these, based on what actually arrived. While they’re functional for the given task, the quality of the taps themselves really don’t give the best first impression, even if this entire set is about the price of a single good quality ⅛” or ½” NPT tap on its own.

Die Verarbeitung ist in der Realität nicht ganz so perfekt, wie auf den Produktfotos, insgesamt dennoch gut. Das Schneiden funktioniert gut, und ich konnte keine übermäßige Abnutzung an den Gewindebohrern erkennen. Insofern sind sie brauchbar wie angeben.
