Beautiful but very hard to get on over the knobs because the leather is so stiff.

I havd tried various straps from this company and they are all comfortable but I hate embroidered straps regardless of who made them. They are not comfortable to use and the friction they make on your neck causes redness. It might work for someone else though

Good quality! I love the hidden pocket for a single pick. High quality.

Over the years guitar straps have changed. There's not much to them to begin with so you wouldn't think that there's much room for change. Today's straps are more comfortable. They are made to better withstand sweat and I have some that feel as smooth as silk. While the ergonomic factor has improved there seems to be one feature that is nearly universal- after just a couple of months of use the two ends almost always need strap locks if you don't want to drop your guitar.I've been playing for the better part of fifty years and in nearly all that time I never needed to use strap locks. It drives me crazy. The first thing that was evident on this guitar strap was the two ends. Popping them on the two strap mounts on my guitar took a little more effort than the others I've had over the last few years. Once on they were tight right off the bat. I've been using them for a while and they are still as tight as they were when I first put them on.The stitching on the strap is without any visible flaw. Personally I like the design but it may be a little dated for some folks. The buckle, the part that allows you to adjust the strap to your own desired length, slides easily and stays in place. I prefer the metal ones. They seem to be more secure than the plastic kind which can also be another problem with the straps of the last few years. The buckle on this strap stays where you put it even when you're moving it from one guitar to the other. If you still prefer using locks there are a couple of rubber ones included. Other amenities include a leather snap-on and a shoelace style chord for those guitars with only one strap mount. It also has a pick pocket though I don't really use them myself.I was satisfied with my order. The main feature with this product is perceived durability. I haven't played it long enough to be sure but the strap from the start appears and feels more like the old kind than the newer ones. It's held strong so far and I have no reason to suspect that will change. The price point is fair and competitive and for what you get above and beyond others that I have used. There is also a five year warranty that underwrites the manufacturer's confidence in the product. If quality and durability is what you are looking for you could do a lot worse. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to play without the hassle and risk of cheap basic gear and these days that the best endorsement that I can give any musical product.

One item that arrived in the package is a little tag - same kind that is commonly on new items, extolling the company's dedication "to empowering music enthusiasts with high-quality and durable musical gear". It goes on from there, but you ought to have the idea by now. While this is a typical statement to find in nearly any product these days, I can tell from the Amumu Vintage Guitar Strap that this company truly means what it says.Did I really need another guitar sling? To be honest, the ones I've been using work fine - they are polyester however, and I always prefer cotton when it is an available alternative. But if my existing guitar sling were a 1 ton pick-up, this one is a Sherman tank. And, this one really matches the guitar nicely (ok, that worked for me - but there's a million guitar finishes out there). The good: The first thing one notices when taking it out of the package is that this guitar strap is very solidly made. It is of weighty fabric, beefy leather ends, large brass rivets connecting the ends to the sling, and a soft backing designed for comfort against your shoulder/neck. I had not initially noticed, but the sling includes a pick pocket (come to think of it...where's my wallet?...jk). I thought that this is a clever add to the design - no more searching for where you laid your pick or threading it through strings. The strap adjusts easily and precisely, and apparently holds up to 100 lbs. That last one is impressive, but I personally have never seen a 100 lb guitar or bass. Even so, I don't know many people who could hold a 100 lb guitar and still make music at the same time. The point being, there isn't likely to be an instrument out there that this strap could not hold.Other items in the package - there is an adapter strap to connect the sling to instruments that lack a strap mounting lug. And if that still isn't an option, they also include little "shoe strings" to just tie it to instruments not otherwise outfitted for a strap. I was wondering what the little disks were for: it appears that they are designed to provide additional hold security by stretching over the lugs to really lock your sling to the instrument. Lots of thought has gone into this guitar strap.Ok, so the real meat - how does it feel playing in practice? Well, I went for about 45 minutes non-stop to really give it a "workout" - and at the end I felt at least as fresh as when I started. That's playing a "strat", solid ash body, so it is not a light rig (still not 100 lbs). The less than good: As good as this guitar sling is, it STILL did not improve my ham-fisted playing... Ok - that part was just humor. The only item here is that the "cotton backing" looks suspiciously non-cotton like... I could be wrong, so no stars lost. The bottom line: This is an improvement over my other sling, so I think I'll keep it on the guitar. This is a LOT of quality, and Amumu really delivers for the price. It is called "vintage" - I do have to say the embroidered design does bring back images of the '60s and '70s ('80s too, although guitars kind of took a back seat in music during that decade). The real "vintage" property is that somebody finally made one like they used to. This may be the last remaining evidence of humanity at the actual end of the universe. Showing up for a gig with this will cause the other band members to say, "Whoa! Where did you get that?"

I'm learning the bass now. Before I had the strap, I had a hard time keeping the base stable on my leg. The strap has solved that problem. It's very comfortable, it doesn't cut into my neck, and it makes it a lot easier to hold the bass. Installation was kind of hard, just because the knobs on the guitar were a little bit too big for the holes cut in the strap. It took some wrestling but I did get them on there. I do also really like the design.

The flower strap is great and looks really good. I didn't end up using the other attachments as I wanted something a bit more secure.
