I use these clips rather than tie multiple knots, which shorten my line or leader. I've tried other snap swivels, but I have neuropathy, which makes manipulating them difficult. These are much easier for me to open and close. Additionally, you can easily add a barrel swivel to the clip if you wish to do so.

I don’t typically use snaps. I bought these to use with some homemade finesse spinners. I’m constantly changing baits so I thought I would try these to make it easier.They are small - I don’t think the fish can see them - and strong.I’ve caught numerous 3-5# bass; pickerel; and bream using these - never a failure.Now I have them on all my rod/reels. Makes it super easy to change baits, and my catch rate hasn’t changed one bit.

I purchased these as a quick connect for a few of my rigs. I received them and thought they were small so before I used them I did a weight test. They held the weight claimed by they're size. I found them hard to use at first. I learned that you have to separate the the hook from the loop to the side and it allows you to put lures, rigs, etc. on and take them off easily. The package came with plenty for a while, but I would purchase them again!

I have always struggled with snaps or clips but these pop on and off with ease. I am so fast at changing lures now that these have been a great time saver. Also, they are rounded with no sharp edges to get hung up. I got the size 3, and they are great for big hands; however, they are a little bulky. The length gives you the leverage to hold it and lock or unlock it. I will trade a slight bulkiness for speed and ease of use! Best I have tried!

I bought the #3 size and I am impressed with the strength, quailty, and ease of use. They are rated 77lbs but I do not anticipate catching something that big! I have only tested them ice fishing so far and they have worked well for small fish and have given nice options to add weights/hooks to different spot on the line. They are easy to open and close and do not destroy my nails like other ones that I have tried. They are smooth and can tie easily. They will be a life saver this summer fishing with the kids who want to change their lure every few minutes.They come in a little plastic box and you get so many for the price. I wi be keeping an elastic around the box so it doesn't open in my tackle box.Size 3 is the perfect size for my needs but it is a nice option to have different sizes. I would be nice if the company offered a mixed pack of sizes!

I thought these would be at least three times the size they are.Oh well. Live and learn. They'll work on ultra lite for fishing for bait fish.EDIT:: These things are too small for my arthritic hands to open and close. If, that is, my 70 year old eyes could even see them. (The size I bought are about 1/2 to 3/4 inch long. I gave them to my 14 year old grandson. Maybe he can use them.
