I'll give 5 stars for looks and functionality. I give the directions that came with it a -2. I followed the directions to the T, and put it away from windows and kept it on an inside wall. It was still pretty, but pretty inaccurate. Next, I did the exact opposite; and put it on an outside wall with a window view. Bingo!!!! Works perfectly!

The temperature function works just fine. However, the weather glass does not do anything different. I followed instructions to reset it once it was received. I have tried moving it to different locations throughout the house and even leaving it outside. Every day it predicts the same thing... overcast.

This weather station was very well packaged and detailed instructions came with the item. Easy to set the clock, there is a plastic ring need to removed then pull out the tab and setting the clock, at last replaced plastic ring back onto the clock. It is 7 inches tall and about 4 inches wide, very beautiful and works well. Highly recommended!

I tried to change the time on the clock. It was too small to even read the clock. The pretty glass balls never change indicating temps in the 80's while it is closer to 50! But, if you don't look too close, it is pretty.
