These clam shell bowls are absolutely beautiful. They are boho, farmhouse, and rustic all in one. The turquoise color accents the copper and makes for a very stylish bowl. I am using these for candy dishes. I really like them. I'm satisfied!

They look like the picture. They are not really big, but fit the measurement.I initially wondered if they were actual pottery. The metal is very rough looking, like clay pots that you use outside. I think the texture may come partially from the paint. Although it looks rough, it's not uncomfortable to touch. I do worry the paint will chip off. I can't tell what kind of metal is underneath and am thinking it might be iron from the look, however, it is not magnetic. I would not use it for food, unless it is packaged food.

This bowl set is gorgeous! The two bowls are great sizes for display and decor. They are heavyweght and durable. They are made from what I would guess is cast aluminum, but I'm not certain. They are metal of some sort and have a great quality feel to them. The colors are beautiful and bright. It's not specified, but I don't think these would be food safe. The metallic paint in the bowls imply you should not put open food on it. I could see these used for wrapped mints or candies, or some other decorative pieces like potpourri or pine cones. These look great in our beach themed dining room on the table. I'm calling these a very good value.

These little decorative bowls feel very heavy, solid and thick. The copper coating is smooth and shiny with visible defects that give a hand-made characteristic, definitely true to many India-made items. The outer color is painted a turquoise color that looks like the color of oxidized copper. The whole bowl is very cold to the touch, even in my warm home.These are a nice rustic but classy decor piece to add to my collection. I have a copper sink in my bar, along with a nice set of copper mugs, so this kind of goes well. I'm sure I can find something suitable to put inside them, like whole citrus or chocolates, to place on the bar for guests. The possibilities are endless.The listing is very vague about the size - which was my main question when ordering these. The small bowl is about 5 inches diameter, the large is 8 inches.

These are really stunning, the color is brilliant and they are well made This are definately high quality decorative pieces. we actually use these in our entry for keys and coins.
