I tried to use it last night. Didn’t work. I set it aside. When I picked it up a few minutes later, it was warm. I removed the battery and it was HOT! I could hardly hold the battery it was so hot! Thank goodness I picked it up sgain. It could have started a fire.

It’s easy to use and lightweight/manuverable. But you must be patient- it does not effectively cut through thick/long hair on our dogs paw pads

Mostly the noise is a problem with dogs or cats when trimming in sensitive areas. Maybe they should rethink these clipper. I have been working with dogs for more then 60 years and I can only imagine using these small clipper’s on very calm animals.

It has been a year and a half ... and now it no longer works. The battery was difficult to get out to replace/recharge. Now it will just not turn on. Did work quite well while it was functional tho.

Not sure why people are buying these for pets. I believe these are intended for human beings. They work great like all Andis products. Note: If you are buying clippers for your pet make sure to get some heavy duty pet clippers and they will cut anything. I know because I have purchased clippers for my two poodles whom have coarse coats. They are usually priced in the hundreds. ANDIS products are great.
