I love my Andycine monitors. I bought a slightly smaller version a little over a year ago and decided I wanted another for 2-camera shoots. This one is even better with the built-in Velcro for the screen cover. The picture quality is impeccable and the battery life is great. Love how Andycine sends everything you need in the kit, including a great carry case.

I've been using the ANDYCINE T6 6-inch DSLR Video Monitor for a couple of months, and it’s a fantastic addition to my modest setup. It packs several great features, and while I don’t utilize everything it’s capable of, I continue to find it extremely useful during filming. The aluminum frame gives it a premium feel, much more robust than some of the pricier plastic options on the market. I also appreciate the bright yellow interlayer that makes it stand out, and the 6-inch screen size is perfect for use with my gimbal and handheld stabilizers. The included sunhood works well in providing shade, especially considering the low brightness (advertised at 450 nits). Although it's not the brightest monitor, it does get the job done in most situations. There is an NP-F battery included, but I prefer using a V-mount battery for the sake of weight balance and simplicity. The HDMI 2.0 support for 4K 60FPS signals is excellent, and the advanced features like waveform, histogram, focus assist, and 3D LUT support are super handy for shooting and focusing accurately. The UI is straightforward and allows you to save up to five custom settings, which is convenient for different setups. Now for the reasons I deducted one star: the brightness, while adequate for indoor or controlled environments, struggles in bright daylight. An upgrade from LCD to LED technology would make a huge difference. Additionally, glare on the screen is quite noticeable, and I think a matte finish would drastically improve usability outdoors. Finally, a touchscreen option would be a nice upgrade. Having to press physical buttons on the top of the monitor can be a bit tedious, and touch functionality would enhance the user experience.Overall, the ANDYCINE T6 is a durable, feature-packed monitor that’s great for the price. With a few improvements—particularly brightness, glare reduction, and touchscreen support—it could easily be a 5-star product.

I’ve been using this for almost a month so have some outings with it. While such as device is typically used for video, and I have used it for that, most of my use has been as an expanded live view so I could better focus my macro images. It is a much better display than the one on either of my R Canon cameras because of its size and location. I’m sold on using this for macro display or any display instead of the built in live view unless it poses too much a penalty in mass or volume. However, it also has worked perfectly for me in my video projects. I was particularly impressed with the included waveform which I learned about after switching to DaVinci Resolve full version. I’m astonished at how much help this level display affords over the histogram. The kit includes the monitor, one HDMI-HDMI micro cable, one USB-C charging cable for the battery, some instructions, a sunshade and a case capable of holding it all including a net pouch for loose stuff such as the cables. I was impressed that the case is a hard case and nicely made large enough to hold all. This works well and will aid both video and still shooting.

The Andycine T6 monitor is a solid choice for budget filmmakers looking for a bigger monitor on their camera. It’s very lightweight and clear. It comes with a sun hood if you’re filming outside (because its max brightness is only 450 nits unfortunately - which is not bright). It also has many exposure tools like false color and scopes. It comes with a well made carrying case as well. It uses pretty common L-series batteries and you can power the monitor with any 12+V power cord if you’re in a studio or controlled set.The only downsides for me are HDMI connection to your camera (HDMI doesn’t always feel super secure) and the brightness. As a Canon C80 user, I would also need a new top handle to be able to use this with a shotgun mic on my camers but that’s more of a Canon issue than a ln Andycine issue. Just something to be aware of if you have a C70/80.

The T6 6inch DSLR Video Monitor by ANDYCINE, is a wonderful addition to my Canon R10, that makes taking pictures and especially video’s highly improved. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – This monitor comes with a respectable level of quality that’s good for this level of cost.II. Performance – It has provided me a great way to improve my pictures and videos, by allowing me to better see what’s in the field of view as well as providing other useful data. It’s a big improvement over any of the included screen on the camera’s themselves and well worth the cost to me. The image or video is clear, crisp and higher definition at 1920x1080P. The aluminum frame is an added bonus over others that adds durability and class versus the typical plastic. It’s easily mounted and connects to all my sources, making it simple to use. The screen is a little hard to see in the direct sunlight, but plenty bright is other situations.Overall, this has been a great addition to my camera set-up with higher quality, performance and usability, making me very happy to have it in my tools. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.
