Even though I'm the age where vinyl was still in living rooms when I was a child, I was very much a cassette era kid. So this was a great turntable to rediscover my inherited collection from my father.Compared to the turntables that I remember, this one has a lot of mechanical features that make playing less frustrating and a better consistent experience. After dialing it in, I was amazed at the quality of sound you can get off of vinyl. If you know, you know, but to me this was eye-opening. It is a good table to learn on, because there are a lot of adjustments to become familiar with. It's been very educational. You will need to seek advice off the Internet because, I guess for those more familiar, a lot of how a record player works goes without saying. The player was at 34.5 RPM, noticably fast to my ears. After some adjustment of the L screw, which requires taking off the bottom plate for access, I was able to get it to 0.12% (33.36) which is good enough for me, and it's stayed consistent. It was a bit of a hassle though, due to the arrangement of the underside, and I feel like that's far enough away from ideal that it should have been adjusted at the factory. There are RCA line-out, phono, and Bluetooth options. I like that you can bypass the pre-amp and use your own if you wish. This probably outperforms the speakers I have it attached to. If I was looking to upgrade, adding a pre-amp and spending more on speakers would get me far, before I needed a better player. For my level, this might be the only one I ever need. It looks great on my wood dresser as well.

Quality is great for the cost. Very happy with the purchase. Easy to setup, looks great and is sturdily built. Would recommend.

UPDATE:There was an issue with the motor on my first unit. A replacement unit was sent out to try despite my return of the unit and it works flawlessly. With this new turntable I can absolutely recommend it. Customer support has been mindblowingly good. I will purchase again from them.Original review:The product looks great for the price, but issues mar the experience. My unit would play records and then suddenly start oscillating speed so the music would slow down and speed up. I contacted customer support who told me to put machine oil down the spindle hole. I did that and lubricated the spindle. Made absolutely no difference. During testing, sometimes the platter would spin at 33 and the next time, 32 or 31. Item was returned.

All in all, I am very pleased with my Angel's Horn Bluetooth turntable after a month of use. Just some background, I am new to the vinyl hobby. It all started with me receiving a Victrola suitcase player for Christmas thinking that would be "good enough" (figured I'd buy that odd record or two I see making comebacks in stores).Within two weeks, I traded up to this Angel's Horn turntable. (Anyone familiar with the suitcase players know there is nothing "good enough" about those suitcase players. With the suitcase player there was appalling sound -even with low expectations for a cheap player, and furthermore it couldn't play anything without skipping being a regular occurrence, all while potentially trashing your records with the poor uber-cheap stylus used.)This player, however, is a whole other story. Once set up properly (like a real turntable should be) with a balanced tone arm, the recommended 3.5g tracking force for the AT3600L stylus, and the anti-skate weight, this thing works like a dream. Yes, the included printed instructions are admittedly kind of bad and vague, but there are plenty of YouTube videos from the manufacturer along with other content creators, setting this turntable up, that make it easy for the uninitiated.Music sounds great through the Audio Technica cartridge/stylus, whether connected to a powered speaker with analog cables or via Bluetooth. All records play with no issue, with clear, beautiful sound, and no skipping. I have played new records, along with old records and 45s from the 60s/70s borrowed from family, and all have been perfect. For better (or worse depending on your stance) this is a full manual player, so you place the needle to start, and it does not automatically reset at the end of a record (though they were kind of enough to include an auto-shutdown of the turntable if it reaches the end of a record and isn't shut down after about 3 minutes. (Just flick power switch off and then back on when it's come to play something else)There are automatic players out there that might be more convenient and easier, but IMO I liked actually having to learn to set up and operate a turntable properly, so the manual nature of this turntable was no issue for me as to me it's just part of the experience.Overall, I am extremely pleased and have nothing to really complain about. This player works, sounds great, and looks very nice wherever it is displayed. This has kickstarted me full gear into the vinyl hobby, and now that my turntable situation is settled with a rock-solid player, I can get down to enjoying the music.9/14/23 update- Just some thoughts after several months use. The turntable still holds up well. I did replace the AT3600L stylus with an ATN91 for a cheap sound upgrade, and for something that tracks much lighter on the vinyl. Some things I wish I understood better before I bought this- honestly, speed consistency isn't great on this turntable. After the first few weeks of listening and getting through the honeymoon period of a new device, I started noticing this sounded audibly a little fast. Upon using a smartphone speed checking app, I saw this was consistently going over 34 rpm. I then got into the whole world of speed adjustment (not a walk in the park on this thing, removing the six screws to remove a panel to get to the little screw you got to turn ever so gently underneath to adjust speed, and a LOT of trial and error.Ultimately, I got this set to around 33.3 and its much better/accurate sounding now- BUT this also has a lot of WOW and flutter- speed tests have this going anywhere from like 33.3 to 33.7 rpm and back to 33.3 within each rotation. Not good. That said, if I'm honestly, not sure if my ears really "hear" this problem but be aware. I also suspected at first maybe my phone app just being imperfect at measuring speed, but I put the same test on my dad's U-turn and that was pretty dead on at 33.3 at all times- so I think that speaks to the quality you get there. You ultimately get what you pay for. This is still pretty good as a cheap first turntable, and if you aren't scared of making adjustments and learning the intricacies of a manual device, but also part of me wishes I just invested a little more money into maybe a U-turn or a Fluance.
