Not one deer came and ate off of it; lots of rats, squirrels and maybe even a rabbit or two but no deer.

We put out deer blocks on our property for our local deer and the blocks are usually gone in a week. Our block ran out and our local store was sold out so we decided to order this one. We put it out in the same location as the previous blocks. The deer checked it out the first two days it was out there, but wouldn’t touch it. Now the deer have stopped coming. Disappointing. We will likely have to throw the block away. It smells like straight brown sugar and the deer don’t like it. My dogs aren’t even interested in it.

I put this out in March in a location about 50 yards from a feeder (Texas). I have had a couple of does check it out with little interest. However a fox has enjoyed peeing on it and rolling on top of the block. I have moved it to a new location nowhere near a feeder to see if I have better luck. I'll follow up on this review.
