Normally with stuff like this, it's usually hard to tell if/how much it's actually working. I have to say though, I really have noticed a difference in the amount of energy my senior dog has been exhibiting since starting this supplement. I feed only once a day and it's lasted for months now. This powder smells like clean, nutty mushrooms and feels very silky - as a consequence, it's super powdery and spreads easily, so be careful when dispensing as it'll get EVERYWHERE, much like flour.

Got this for my dog that has slowed down as he's aged. This supplement is in a easy to use powder form. Just put it in with your dogs food. After several days of using the powder I noticed my dog did seem to have more energy and was playing are running on walks. I'm happy with this mushroom supplement and will get more in the future.

This seems to be a high quality product! Although it does not state on the product itself (I wish it did) that it is made from certified organic mushrooms, the website states this.The product label states it is from 100% fruiting bodies. A lot of products are a mix of fruiting bodies and mycelium, but the fruiting bodies are where the benefits are. And mycelium (kind of like the mushroom “roots”) is often grown on grain, so you get unnecessary grain mixed in when you buy products that contain mycelium.I’ve been reading about the potential benefits of cordyceps mushroom on kidney health and function. I mix it into my cat’s wet food and he eats it with no problem. I haven’t noticed any increased energy, but he’s almost 17 years old, so I really wasn’t expecting much. Also, those kind of results can take time to show.If I had to say anything negative about this, it does have an orange tint from the mushroom so if your pet throws up a lot, that might be a pain to clean. And it would be nice if it came with a scoop. Otherwise, I am very pleased!

only one cat will eat this. i introduced sparingly, but two cats walked away. Your cat may love it or hate it. give it a try. great nutrient.

If you want to be really grossed out, look up what cordyceps mushrooms are. And if you know where it grows naturally, you'll probably be asking what crazy person figured out that it was medically useful, let alone edible.I had a cat with chronic kidney disease. I got this. I put it into her prescription food, just an eighth of a teaspoon, but she must have detected it, and she definitely wasn't a fan. Unfortunately, there were other factors at work that I wasn't aware of.I'm heartbroken to report that my sweet cat passed away shortly after getting this product, BUT it was from something NOT related to either this product or her kidney disease. HONEST.Understandably, I'm not in a position to be able to judge this product on any merits that I was able to personally witness. All I can do is judge it on what I believe about it. I believe it's a good canister of product, very uniform and actually not unpleasant to my nose. I believe it's probably useful, based on the research I did before ordering it. And I believe my cat would have persisted in turning her nose up at it, but that's cats for you.Before your beloved kitty succumbs to the Reaper, please consider this product. I absolutely believe it can help.

I wish I could tell you if I saw an improvement or not, but my dogs will NOT touch the stuff no matter what I add it to. I should mention that my dogs are spoiled little snobs, lol. So you might have better luck than I did if your baby isn't so picky. I didn't want to tank their rating just because my dogs are so picky so I gave it 4 stars but I can't really speak on the effectiveness.
