New packaging good quality and looks amazing love the new look, I was so close to stop buying it because of the old packaging my dogs joints do not pop like they used to.

I take the same formulation in human grade and it’s the only calcium tablet that works for a 70-year-old woman. This is for a dog, puppy, and so far so good!

I've been using for the last several years with my homemade dog food. I sprinkle a scoopful for every 2 lb that we cook, easy to use, no real smell and probably tasteless to my dogs. This is certainly needed to add calcium and all those amazing micronutrients into their diets. This ensures my homemade food is balanced and proper nutrition. When I first started making dog food I made some mistakes, and adding the supplements and other vitamins etc was one of those. After consulting with a holistic veterinarian she recommended this additive, and I've been using ever since and my dogs seem to continue to be healthy.

I bought this product as it was recommended by a dog nutritionist as a calcium supplement to homemade food. I was worried that my fussy eater wouldn’t like the flavour but I’m pleased that he doesn’t mind it at all.

This is a great product - very easy to use and mixes well with homemade food - no smell, and my dog has not noticed any difference in her meals and eats it up as before - I like the idea that it is very easy digestible for the dogs since mine has had a pancreas problem in the past. I will order this product again! Product came packaged well and not tampered with - HerbsPro - very pleased.

Very happy with this product. The jar is filled to the top with powder so you get a full jar of product not a half jar like a lot of supplements. I bought this to mix in my cat's raw meals and it seems to be working great. The directions on the jar for raw food is for large batches of meat so I had to scale down the ratio for daily batch feedings as I prefer to add supplements fresh rather than freeze them in large batches of meat. So beware you will have to do your own calculations. I add about 1/8 tsp to about 3 ounces of meat. Reason being cats need to have calcium balanced to phosphorus and it is better to give more calcium than is needed than not enough. As lack of proper calcium can cause kidney damage in cats. This Calicum is highly absorbable and superior to bone meal or egg shells. Can't go wrong with this product.

Seems like a good quality product but if you are looking for something to add to your dog's food that has already been made then it will be quite difficult to figure out the dosage. I wanted this product to add needed calcium to my dog's homemade food as not all my meat has bone in it and his dental health is too poor for him to chew raw bones. I had already made a batch of food, that has no bone in it, and portioned it out in the freezer so I wanted to be able to have a supplement that I could just sprinkle on his food when he eats. Unfortunately, the only serving recommendations given on the container say to add so much to however many pounds of food and no recommendations for how much to feed per meal per the dog/cat's weight so I have no idea how much to add at meal time. I am just going to give a tiny sprinkle I guess as he needs the supplementation and I have already prepared this batch of food and can no longer add in the calcium per however many pounds of food I made. I can do this next time I make a batch of food without bone meal already in it but there really should be some sort of feeding recommended based on the dog's or cat's weight so the supplement can be added to already prepared meals.
