The product works as described and is inexpensive. I originally had a screen protector that also made it difficult for anyone to see outside of the one looking directly at the screen itself, but it was bulky and did not fit the screen snugly, so I ended up looking into another.Installation was simple and did not require me to do much but wipe away dirt and smudged with a wipe provided with the screen protectors themselves. I figured I might mess up and would have to use one of the screen protectors as a practice. Thankfully that isn’t the case and I got it the first time.As far as how the screen looks with the protector on, I can say that I don’t notice the blue light protection interfering with the look of the screen except when not looking directly at the screen itself (from the left or right side, for example), and even then it isn’t that noticeable.I’d recommend this product for sure and will likely take it into consideration for my next MacBook Pro purchase in the near future.

This product provides a nice film for my Macbook. The product # fit the model I have too. It is very tedious to put on concerning, cleaning the Mac, peeling back the film but it is to be expected. The product description could do the product more justice by explaining that the film has that papery feel that you would get with most ereaders. I think that is the feature that makes it stand apart from others in regards to it's blue light reduction. It dials down that glossy brightness that is produced by the retina display without sacrifice to clarity. Get you some sharp scissors and a exacto knife ready to carve out a corner for any privacy hole coverups you may have installed on your webcam.

I was shopping for a good fit and glare reduction. I've only had this thing on my screen for an hour or so but I've seriously never been happier looking at this computer.As other reviewers have mentioned, it's not the easiest thing in the world to put on, so maybe I can help save some folks some trouble. Disclaimer: my panel already had some scratches and bruises so I wasn't concerned about risking damage (if you're buying for a MacBook of this vintage, your panel might be in the same shape, idk), so follow the below procedure at your own risk:- forgo the provided wet wipe in favor of a microfiber cloth lightly misted with your favorite window cleaner- use the dry wipe and dust cloth for excess cleaner and/or smudges the microfiber cloth didn't get- get a good-enough alignment on the top-left corner once you start applying the film, but put your care into aligning against the left edge of the display panel; the cut of the film is quite precise and if you get it right here, the rest will take care of itself- on the topic of bubbles, unless you see visible dust or pet hair or the bubbles are numerous and small, just keep going with your application of the film, you'll probably be able to get them out- the application "card" is meatier than you might expect and has a protective fabric layer on one end, and it applies enough force to press out bubbles and press into corners and edgesI can't speak to much concerning blue light filter effectiveness - it had a bluish tint to it before applied - but colors look good, and everything still appears sufficiently sharp. I'll update this if I notice anything important. If you want less glare and a premium-looking film, look no further.

This is a good anti-glare filter, not sure about blue filter, but it keeps crispy colors. I am really satisfied with this. Installation wasn't too hard, no bubbles left. My monitor had that issue which the original anti-glare coating started coming off leaving smudges and a weird look on, Apple had a recall for this but by now it is already over and I would have to pay a small fortune to replace on a very old computer, so I decided to try an external anti-glare filter instead.Instructions included were not too helpful though. Hopefully these hints may help:1. Turn off your macbook, it helps seeing any smudge and dirt2. Clean using a microfiber and cleaning solution for monitors instead of the provided wipe. You may want to clean well multiple times to make sure it is very clean.3. Use the cloth provided to do a last cleaning.4. Use the dust remover sticker they provide to remove any dust left.5. Clean the filter as any dirt on it may transfer to the monitor when applying the filter.6. When applying the film, the sticker that says 1 is the side which will stick to the monitor (mine was the blue sticker).7. Align the filter carefully to one side, if it is well aligned, it will fit perfectly to the other corners. Use the application card as you are applying the filter, that is the easiest way to avoid leaving bubbles.I hope that helps.

I like that this screen cover means I can use my laptop in the dark without any eye strain. I think the adhesion works well save for one corner that seems to refuse to stick and I'm not sure why. The cleaning equipment used for the screen prior to adhesion was really useful, but I would advise putting a notice in for the wet wipe because Apple actually advises against using wet wipes to wipe your screen because they're sensitive enough that it could cause damage. I also think that the antiglare does not work as well because it mostly just turns my screen really blue when the sun hits which also makes it hard for me to be able to do work if it's sunny outside. Overall this was a good purchase, and I am satisfied.

I purchased this screen protector for my new MacBook Pro 2019 release.I am very happy with the product. it arrived within a week of purchased and very well packaged.It took a bit of extra care applying the film, but for the purpose of it is worth it.With the amount of computer work I do, It does exactly what it’s supposed to: Anti Glare, stops the blue light penetrating my eyes.I can stare at the screen longer without hurting,I would say this product would be perfect if it is a privacy screen protector as well.Overall I am happy with it and recommend it.
