I was skeptical about his device after reading reviews for this product as sold by this and other venders (there are several who sell what is clearly the same device, for a wide array of prices. The main problem is that the instructions are almost hopelessly incomplete. After several tries I figured out the missing steps and was able to install the device and to confirm that it actually works well. I'll know better after using it on a long trip next month. (I will also make sure to turn on the "Lane Departure Alert" system even though its signal can be annoying, too). .1) There is an undescribed component connected to the camera with a long wire and labelled GPS. It seems that it is a GPS that recognizes whether the vehicle is moving and perhaps more, so if you look away from the road while sat a stop sign, the device doesn't yell at you.2) The calibration step is unmentioned but is essential. There is a button on the camera that triggers this step and walks you through the process. Without calibration (figuring out what you look like when your eyes are closed), the device keeps yelling at you to keep your eles on the road. .3) The mounting instructions are unclear about the proper position for the lever that fully activates the suction cup. Photos of the open and closed positions of the lever would help.It would be better if holder with the suction cup were white rather than black, since there is no way to shield it from becoming loose when the car is parked in the sun.It is somewhat odd that the device plugs into the cigarette lighter for power, rather than to the usb port, found in cars for at least 10 years (and available on a cigarette lighter plug for cars that don't have usb). That suggests that the design is old and hasn't been refreshed.I suspect that these deficiencies, and the comments about them, have led to poor sales and a failure to update the design. Too bad, because it seems to be a valuable device.

After I set up the projector, I noticed that once I hit play on any app (amazon prime, netflix, hbo max, …) the loading circle goes round forever and it ends up with some error message. You can only play Youtube there. No other apps work. When I contacted customer service, they said they knew the issue and offered me a free amazon TV stick which they never sent. Each message would take a week for them to respond and all the time with some excuse that “oh we don’t have that available, and instead we are …”. The coversation ended up with offering $40 visa gift which again they never sent. More like a scam than a customer service. Don’t get fooled by their charm.

Nothing to say more than "It saves my life several times".I wish if it has sound control, but I love it as it is.
