Sticking it to the floor doesn’t make sense.

While we don't have toys that make their way under the sofa, TV stand, and other furniture...we do have a robot vacuum that loves to roll under them and get stuck underneath. These clear plastic pieces come with adhesive to make sure that they stay put, and keeps the vacuum out.

Works well but it does have to essentially glue to your floor. Depending on your flooring, you may not like that. I have hardwood floors and so don't want to damage them. So I flipped them upside down and applied the adhesive side to the underside of the sofa and its' working out great. But this will only work if your sofa is the right height for the blockers.

These couch blockers work beautifully! I actually installed them under my console because my cats love to swat toys under it and then pull at the rug and meow at me to come get them out when they can’t. I’m loving them, the cats, not so much. :) I ended up installing the 1.5” side facing up because it fit under the console better. There’s also a 2” side. Easy to install and the tape works well. I searched specifically for acrylic because I didn’t want the PVC material in my house. The only place I can see them is in the corners, but I also know they’re there.
