購入して、玄関から入ったところに飾っています。とても重厚感があり、素晴らしい。これは海軍用であり、用途は違うと思うのですが、明治時代、旗振り通信の際に用いた、旗振りを視認するための三脚付き望遠鏡も、このような品を旗振り山の山頂に設置して、すぐそばで旗振りで送信していたかつての時代を想像して、タイムスリップすることができるのでは、と思いました。

Looks great!improvements:- better zoom pls- the two 1/2s of the telescope were not screwed on straight which made the optics not functional, i unscrewed it and reset it properly which fixed it. might want to put more attention on this part since other buyers might not be so patientheads up to buyers:- this has 15x zoom, it's fine for me since it's mostly decorative but it's nice that it's somewhat functional

Perfectly stable, no flimsy wobble (as long as you tighten the screws down) and completely functional. Has that old vintage look (including tarnish) but it's nothing a little brass and wood polish can't clean up to give it that freshly restored look.

It was dented when I received it. The lens threads were damaged so it will not fit in the telescope securely. The tripod is cheap. Not worth the money. Don't expect to use it as a functioning telescope. I got it for a prop in a play and it served its purpose and it makes a nice conversation piece in my studio but still not worth the price.
