We used chains before to hang the punching bag, and made loud squeaks (metal rubing on metal). This solved the problem.

Have this holding up a 100 lb bag in the garage. So far so good. Punching and kicking the bag has no effect on the strap.

Not gonna lie, I doubted the durability of this product but its perfect, easy to get a bag hanging on it.. I have a 150lb bag and works perfectly.
