Great camera, however, anyone else having issues with video playback only showing the first 10 secs of video before prompting to buy storage? The camera does record longer video so that's not the issue.UPDATE: Found a solution! If you view the recording in the AOSU app, it will only show 10 secs of the recording, however, if you download the recording to your device, it will show the entire video length. This is the workaround to having to purchase cloud storage to view in the app.

These quit working after a couple months. I would not recommend these too difficult to connect and work with. They also don’t stay charged very long. I gave one star as it worked first month. Unfortunately I bought four and out of money now. CONTACted customer service and they stand by their customers and sent another two upgraded cameras so they fixed above and beyond. I would recommend this company

Edit:I had given a 2 star review earlier due to issues I’ve had with the standalone camera I had purchased.Ann from their customer support team reached out after reading the review, apologized for the issues with the product and offered to send a different replacement product.I’m changing my review to 5 stars just for the awesome customer service and their Willingness to stand behind their product and do right by the customer.

As advertised. No subscription required, but subscription is very affordable compared to others. Great security camera for the price. You cannot go wrong with this as a security camera.

Great cameras with very good video quality and performance. After 8 months one of the cameras started having issues-not able to connect to the wifi. I did contact Aosu customer service and their technical support is awesome. They instructed me what to do but the camera was still not able to connect and they escalated my issue and within 12 hrs I had a reply. Ann, from technical support, resolved the issue by sending me a new camera and extending my warranty. They truly care about their clients and make every effort to resolve any issues.Thank you!

I couldn’t get the camera to work properly so I contacted customer service. When you scan the QR code into the AOSU app instructions on how to connect the camera come up. The instructions take you through the process of connecting the camera and getting it running. When did the first steps is to press the power button until the blue light comes on and the camera will say hello. This must happen before you move to the next step. No matter what I did, the camera would not say hello, Customer Service came back and told me to do the exact same thing that the app gives instructions for. They also wanted a video of me going through that process. I did not send the video. I contacted Customer Service For a second time and got the exact same instructions that the app gives. I was even sent a YouTube link that shows how to set up the camera, which was exactly the same instructions the app gives you. All customer service was doing was asking me to repeat the same basic operation over and over again. Which I had already informed them I had done. Once again, I was asked for a video of me going through that process. Two reasons I did not send a video. The first is unbeknownst to Customer Service, I am able to read. This means I am perfectly capable of following the instructions that the app gives, which I did many, many times over several days. I even charged the battery just in case. The second reason is due to the fact that it takes both my hands to go through the process of trying to set the camera up, so I found it difficult and unreasonable for Customer Service to expect me to hold a phone and video me going through the process. The end result is that since I sent the message back to Customer Service that they would not be getting a video. I have not heard from them since. In other words, I have received exactly zero help. I specifically wanted this camera because it was solar powered, and there was no battery to change or charge. This does no good if you cannot set up the camera so it works properly. Obviously Customer Service does not know how to set up the camera either. I am very disappointed in my purchase and very disappointed in the customer service.Update: customer Service contacted me one more time and asked if I wanted my money back or a replacement. Since I actually liked the original four cameras I purchased with the base station, I decided I would give it another chance and requested a replacement. I received the replacement today, and immediately set it up. It worked perfectly the first time. I am back to being a happy camper with these cameras.

I've had a few different security cameras but this camera is the best so far. Very easy to set up. A brilliant clear picture and quality manufacture. I recommend this camera.

Great quality camera that worked straight out of the box. Set up on the app was easy and straightforward. There is cloud recording for a subscription fee or sd card for free. The alerts it sends to your phone when a person is detected are spot on. Very pleased with this product.

Tolle Kamera für den Privatgebrauch.Installation war super einfach und man wird ab Kauf direkt mit einem super Support betreut. Anleitung, App und Kundensupport in Deutsch, somit erspart man sich Übersetzungen.Es ist bis auf eine evtl. Speicherkarte alles was man benötigt im Lieferumfang enthalten.Auch das anbringen der Kamera war dank Rund um Sorglospaket inkl. Schrauben, Bohrvorlage usw. auch für einen Laien umsetzbar.Die Kameraqualität entspricht meinen Vorstellungen. Auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen ist alles erkennbar. Auch die Tonqualität der Sprechanlage lässt keine Wünsche übrig.Wir nutzen die Kamera mit Speicherkarte und auf mehreren Endgeräten ohne Probleme.Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das wir wohl ein Montagsmodell des Solarpanels erhalten haben. Aber der Kundensupport war hier sofort zur Stelle und wir haben ein Ersatzteil geliefert bekommen.Tolles Gerät mit einem hervorragenden Support.
