This powerful desoldering pump from Aoyue delivers a high-volume vacuum to quickly and efficiently suck solder out of the joint. The vacuum is set manually by depressing the plunger and released by the button directly below. I was able to use this to desolder header pins on my microcontroller and resolder them. I also was able to use this to desolder and remove header pins completely from an i2c 4-pin OLED display module. The suction is ok, I still see solder in the hole. Sometimes I need to desolder twice or three times per hole to get it clean. No heat related melt and cleaning is quite easy. A useful tool in my soldering toolbox.
