Just a heads up ..#1 AP exhaust packing dept blows !! every muffler I purchased from them is just shoved in a flimsy box and by the time it arrives from Mexico it's all dented the tube ends are usually smashed or knocked out of round. If you can get it straightened around it fits well #2 It's not as quiet as stock idling by any means it drones a bit at speed it sounds similar to a 40 series Flow master to me. I had to put a resonator at the end of the tail pipe to get the right sound and loose the drone. if I get a chance, I will upload a sound clip to here or on YouTube titled AP 2500 MUFFLER SOUND CLIP

I like the increase in pickup.It is made in Mexico, not China.It is not stainless steel, it is aluminized steel.It is louder than stock at all speeds, but not terrible.

This muffler fit exactly like the original one did, probably the best fitting dual inlet an dual outlet muffler I have ever installed. Just be sure to cut the original pipes as close to the muffler as possible.

HD2500 Chevy application, a few reducers and clamps and oh boy,,, quiet now! I bought it with a “dented area” listed on description, and that was fine. But, I do believe it was dropped pretty hard on one end during ship to me. Not a quality issue, more of a shipping/handling issue, some hammer time and some light heat, we’re good now.

This muffler is heavy well built . it has two inlets . 2 outlets but 1 outlet is not a outlet there is metal tube sticking out but no exhaust will flow out dead area. very odd design . muffler shop man idea lets cut a hole in dead area 2 1/4 hole with hole saw .it worked great installed sounds great
