Allows Replacement of a Damaged or Failed Wiper Motor
Park reset is required during installation and is a simple process but often overlooked. After the complete module is installed and before installing the wiper arms, You must cycle the ignition switch ON and then turn on the wipers and the turn the wipers OFF for the motor to come to its natural parked position. Then install the wiper arms, failure to follow the repair manual instructions leads to incorrect parking of the wiper arms and also possible damage.

bolt in and go.. easy. Just remember to install it and turn it on and then off from inside your car BEFORE installing the wiper arms. This allows it to set to its zero-point (off position). If you try to attach wiper arms before doing this you might be going for a wild ride.Anyhow, 10 minutes to install if you're comfortable working on cars. Nothing to it.

Purchased due to OEM part was 290$ ,this item does work and it make a winding noise on high it does find home with no problem, I see it lasting 10 or so rain or snow storms, so I do suggested get the extra protection, for 8$ your going to need it , also the wiper arms do NOT set Correctly, on the new transmission studs, view photoUPDATE 9/11/2023 protection policy worked ,broke during a rain storm with my child in the jeep ! LASTED 6 months, what a joke! the OEM lasted for 10 years! Dangerous purchase,New update received new part 9/15/2023 Came in two Parts, motor , and linkage, separate- not as pictured installed item cannot find home WORTHLESS! Item! going to give them one more try , then the dealership it is OEM,This one. Was Defective returned for replacement-Please READ, if wiper motor is not mounted on the body as in the description pictures : then you will need to install motor , easy 3 screws BUT! make sure motor link is positioned correctly , to the main link facing the driver side ,

The box was cheap and was broken on delivery. I detached the motor and used it on the old assembly.

Fit and worked great. Followed directions not too difficult to complete. Hardest part was removing the plastic grate from the hood to access the motor. I had to buy some new body panel clips from Amazon (didn’t have them at auto zone).

The wiper motor on our 2017 Jeep JK went bad. I tried a few things to see if I could bring it back around with no luck. I bought this unit because fiddling with the wiper linkage is kind of a pain and in cold weather in the forecast, I didn't want to risk cracking one if the old plastic bushings. For this reason I would likely need to buy fresh bushings and that adds both parts and labor to the occasion...and for reason...I'm out!This wiper and linkage assembly works great. It fixed the issue (old motor speed would only go up to lo-speed), and seems a little bit quieter than the old motor.
