It didn't come with a gasket but I was going to use high temp gasket maker anyway. The rubber gasket seems to be the difference between it working or not on some Jeeps. Fairly easy install, would have been easier but I was too lazy to drop the skid plate.

Works as described for my 99 TJ 4.0 with an NP231 transfer case. I use 4wd almost every day and my indicator light has functioned flawlessly for several months now.

APDTY 711662 4WD Switch, Transfer Case Mounted, Electric.This switch at the dealer cost three times the price. This switch is exactly the same as the switch replaced. No problems.
