This replacement pH probe is equipped with a slim 8mm pH electrode and a built-in temperature sensor. It has a measurement range of 0 to 14. 00 pH and 0 to 50°C(32-122°F). Its 10 mm diameter probe allows measurement in most test tubes, making it perfect for educational use as well as other general water solution's pH measurement, such as hydroponics, aquaculture, pool & spas, small volume sample like saliva and urine, water treatment, environmental monitoring, etc.

If I’m being honest I couldn’t recommend this product. The battery lasts longer than the darn probe! You would think they wouldn’t be very keen on having a customer make that statement in a product review, but they seem to be fine with it. They’re going to respond with “the life of the probe is only about a year that’s why the warranty is only 6 months. WTF? Let me say this again:A $4 battery lasts longer than their $75 ph pen. The replacement probe is only $30 , but the fact that they would rather have me write this negative review than take the hit to the bottom line is remarkable. Apparently they have zero concern about their reputation. It’s a shame. I should’vr bought the Blue Lab.

Worst experience ever, bought the SX620 Pen Tester on Nov 16, 2019 and it stopped working on April 2020 (I only used it 5 - 6 times!!). I followed all the instructions, storing the pen using the storage solution, cleaning with distilled water, etc.I bought the replacement probe thinking it was just bad luck (the product had good reviews), but it had the same problem, it did not work at all. Same problem, tried to calibrate it, and the reading goes from -1 to 15 and error out.I also tried calibrating with new solutions, did not work either.The funny thing is that a $15, 2 years old tester saved my brew day.
