The desk is big enough and sturdy. I love the fact that my son will be able to use it for many years to come. It is big and spacious to have many things at the same time. Costumer service is excellent, addressing questions within hours. I highly recommend the investment, specially if you want to create a fun but mature enough enviroment for a child to study. This is on my home office, and I feel the desk does not overpower my work area.

My kids used to do her works on the dining table. With the home school during the pandemic, I was looking for a adjustable desk for her that she can use for couples of years. This desk is very sturdy as it is heavy. The chair is adjustable as well and good quality. However the adjustable level is manual. Overall I like this set but the only part I wish they can improve is to add the book rest where she can put her iPad or book.

UPDATE: I really liked the desk...I bought another and it arrived in perfect condition. The drawer works too and we were able to hook up use the drawer. I changed it from 4 to 5 stars.Great desk for kids to use as they grow up. It’s very sturdy and strong, as some other reviews have mentioned. That is one of the reasons I bought it. It’s easy to clean, overall easy to put together. It is quite heavy. I like that you attach the shelf where you want to. I would give it 5 stars; however, there were two issues, which may not be an issue for all desks: 1) part of the metal attachment under the desk was damaged with paint chips; 2) I could not attach the drawer because the inside part of the drawer would not slide out enough to attach the outer piece/handle. To be fair, I didn’t contact the company about because the damaged part is under the desk and not noticeable unless your under the desk...I just touched it up with some paint. I also decided I preferred the drawer off. Overall it is a great desk, the chair is awesome...it’s cushiony. My sons loves, great for his school work.

Everything arrived quickly but unfortunately was damaged during shipment. Contacted the seller and they told me to go ahead and unbox, then to let them know what was damaged. I told them what was broken and they offered to send the parts and my choice of a free shelf or $25 refund for my troubles. I was a day late in responding that I would like the $25 refund....they responded saying they had already sent the parts+shelf and that I should keep AND they would give me the $25 refund. Obviously a positive experience on the initial customer service end...but more importantly the desk and chair are awesome! My 5yr old loves it! The metal parts are heavy and seem high quality as does the paint. The desk is not solid white but knew that from the other reviews. It is white for sure but the wood grain shows through. The height adjustment crank/mechanism is solid and really easy to change. The chair is very sturdy and is also easy to adjust. The desk/angle adjustment is done by putting your hand underneath and grabbing a pulley, then putting the other hand at the top and pulling up/pushing down. There is a pump underneath the desk and that holds it up with air. Would call it pneumatic but for some folks that implies you need a pressurized air source to operate. Hope that makes sense. NET - everything is really solid and though I have only had it for a few weeks I am confident it will last a long time.

just arrived a couple of days ago; First, the color is a lighter blue than what the pictures show (on my macbook pro)--not an issue for us, but pretty clearly it is a difference. Aside from that, i'm very impressed: assembly was trivial, literally trivial, it took 10 minutes. The foam padding on the back and seat are very high quality; most office furniture is not made of materials of this high quality. In fact, the build quality, materials, and design are first rate--whether judged against children's furniture or adult's--consistent with the price. Lastly, there is one little feature they added that i love--it's an optional (it's part of the package but assembly is optional) "lock" to present the chair from spinning around. But for this, the six year old girl whom i bought this for would have spent most of her time while in this chair to see how fast she could make it spin around. Assembling the table is actually far easier than you might think; the reason is that ApexDesk ships the desk in a substantially pre-assembled state, and for this i am very grateful. Also, there's a helpful youtube video that i relied on just in case. This is a seriously good-looking desk-chair combo that at least one six-year old little girl loves. Notwithstanding all of the good things about this rig, i would not have paid this much had the desk and chair not been adjustable; indeed their is enough range in height of each so that it lasts four or so years. Negatives? can't really think of any other than the good folks at ApexDesk, no doubt with the best of intentions, threw in a couple of extra screws (in case we lose one or two during assembly); i appreciate this, on the other hand, it just made it harder to convince my wife i had actually assembled it correctly.
