The switch works well enough but beware it comes with no schematic at all so either check the internet or be prepared to use an ohmmeter. Second issue is for a switch rated at 20 amps (this means 12 AWG wire,) the included box is way, way too small.I used the 8 pole model to switch between 120 VAC line power and emergency power supplied by a battery with included inverter to an oil furnace. I was able to get 14 AWG wires to fit but with a lot of effort. (Note, my application only draws less than 2 A with a max startup load of 5 A so 14 AWG is more than adequate.)

I bought this as a load transfer switch for an outdoor outlet. I wanted to be able to switch the outlet from grid to solar and back as needed. I ordered the 20A switch to cover the outlet amperage. The problem is the the housing is just way to small for 12 gauge ROMEX wire. There is just no room to stuff the outlet and two power sources into that little housing. As a matter of fact, I tried and broke the housing, that was stupid and I cannot return it now.So it is off to the trash for this thing and I give it 1 star for not being built to accommodate standard 20A wiring. There is no value here for me.
