This part is exactly what I needed for my C6 Corvette. The OEM glove box latch just stopped working and I was able to find this on Amazon for a very reasonable price.I watched a YouTube video that showed how to install it, though the instructions that come with the part are fairly self-explanatory.If I had anything negative to say about this part is that it doesn’t go in as easily as I would’ve liked it to. Although the latch works to open and shut the glove box, the original key will not work in this part. I considered returning it but just ended up keeping it though now the key does not work and I’m OK with that.
