They were about 1/2 inch to 1 inch too small on the winding of the coils to fit properly in the perches. The locations for the ends of the springs did not even closely match the indentations on the top of bottom of the spring to lock them in.

The springs are too stout for the car they are for a big block car not a small block car original springs have 10 coils the new ones had at 11 and our a thicker spring car looks like it’s going up hill all the time

These seem to be stock height for a 1968 Camaro with a small block, and no air conditioning.I will know better once I get it out of the shop in a few weeks and drive the car.Original springs in my car were for a 6 cylinder and to soft for the V8.Old springs and these were the exact same length, just these are stiffer.PITA to put in with out hoist with car on jack stands but we managed.I will update this review once I drive the car and it sits awhile under load.

Old rusty springs looked awful when compared to new powdercoated control arms. Bought these hoping they were powdercoated and not painted. The material is definitely not paint so I think it must be powder coat. It will come off if the spring is scraped on a metal surface but otherwise seems very tough and hopefully durable. Looks much better than the old rusty springs.I don't notice any real difference in how the front end moves so the new spring's rate must must be very similar to the old spring's rate.
