I purchased the motor and transmission mounts. I also looked a YouTube videos before starting. The of videos I saw only show the drivers side replacement and mentions replacing the passenger side and mentioning it being more difficult. I didn’t remove the tire on the drivers side. However you will need to remove the tire and the wheel well liner to access the bolts on the passenger side. The passenger side is more difficult due to the stater. One video suggests removing the starter which I didn’t do. I managed to lift the engine just enough to squeeze and rotate the mount in. The motor mount bolts lined up very perfectly. Although the shield is made like the OEM it does flex. Getting bolts through the sheild while using fingers and tools can be difficult due to this flex. Which will misalign and block the bolt hole beyond. There are a few reviews on Amazon on complaining about this. So prior to starting I took the suggestion and used a variable speed rotary tool to expand the heat sheild bolt opening. The transmission mount was easy by comparison. My mounts were so worn the engine sat lower and was interfering with one of the rack tubes. Only time will tell how well these hold up.

I bought the set and went with the left side first. After a couple of hours trying to get the right angle i pulled it back out and started measuring using the old mount. Turns out one of the 2 studs that hold the engine side mount in place was too long and interfering with an already tight space so i removed it and the heat shield to see what the hell was going on. I measured the factory engine side mount and discovered the angle was different and beffier. So i decided to install the old 4 bolt plate onto the new mount and it finally went in. What should have taken a couple hours for all 3 would up taking all day. Not real happy about that. The worst part is i cant return it and i still have the right side to do which has more stuff in the way. Pray for me

Well worth the money, when shops are making the same products up 300%, on top of charging you 100$ per bolt to replace. Shop quoted me 700$ to replace one, just one… so the way I see it is I saved myself about 1400$ by doing it myself. You read that right! And I haven’t even mentioned the transmission mount. That was like an added bonus! No more motor kissing the hood!! So far so good. We’ll see how long they last.
