I recently installed the A-Premium A/C Compressor with Clutch on my 2010 Toyota Highlander Limited, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. The compressor is compatible with Highlander models from 2008 to 2010, and it comes with a 2-year warranty, which provides a good level of assurance regarding its durability and reliability.Installation Tips:1. Removing the Fan for More Space:One of the best tips I can offer is to remove the fan before starting the installation. Taking off the fan provides significantly more room to maneuver, making it easier to access the compressor. With the fan out of the way, you can remove the compressor from the top without much hassle. The space freed up by removing the fan allows you to easily reach and unscrew the bolts securing the compressor, especially the tricky bolt located at the top next to the pulley.2. Accessing from the Bottom:If you prefer to remove the compressor from the bottom, I suggest loosening the bolts on the frame. This small adjustment allows the frame to drop slightly, creating additional space to wiggle and turn the compressor out. It’s a helpful trick that can save time and frustration during the removal process.Performance:The A-Premium compressor performs well and meets my expectations. After installation, the air conditioning system in my Highlander worked efficiently, providing cool air as needed. The compressor seems robust, and the 2-year warranty is a great bonus, offering peace of mind for any potential issues that might arise. Conclusion:In summary, the A-Premium A/C Compressor with Clutch is a solid choice for anyone needing to replace their compressor in a 2008-2010 Toyota Highlander. The installation process can be made easier by removing the fan and loosening the frame bolts if accessing from the bottom. The compressor’s performance and the 2-year warranty make it a reliable and cost-effective option.

Easy install. Manufacturer should specify how much oil is pre-charged in the compressor but they did answer that quickly via posting here on Amazon. I did NOT use the freeon that has an oil additive and my AC is blowing literally ice cold (sub 32) in an 80 degree garage. It has kept up in the 105 degree Houston TX summer heat very well this past month. Can replace from the underside of the Highlander but much easier if replacing from the top by removing the radiator and cooling fans IMO. Great YouTube videos on it from the car care nut channel! This was my first AC DIY of any kind and needed zero outside help except YouTube.
