We'll see how it holds up! I was extremely impressed with the turbo however. The packaging was incredible, there was a plastic molded plug in every orifice. It was tied off in a heavy duty plastic bag and placed in the box with that self-forming foam on the top and bottom. I've had stuff that cost 10 times as much as this turbo and didn't come that well packaged. Installation went very well, all the bolt holes for the heat shield etc were where they were supposed to be. Only thing I couldn't pick would be that I had to loosen the v band in the middle and clock the turbo just a little bit so that the intercooler would line up better, where it bolts to the turbo. That wasn't a big deal. So we'll see how it goes! It's on my daughter's car, she drives a super conservatively so I thought why not try and inexpensive turbo. She hardly even gets into the turbo! Oh, one other thing, when I was testing it out I really got into it, doing some hard pulls. I did get it to trip the engine light. It's still ran fine, it just gave me code P0244, which after some research, I found it's a fairly common code that people get. It's a waste gate code, probably due to an overboost situation. However I've seen people say that these codes can throw even if you have something like a bad battery connection or a weak battery. This car does have an alternator that's on its way out so maybe that's it. In any case, if you're not doing a really hard pull with it, it does not kick the light on. The wastegate is adjustable also, so I could fiddle with that if I want to. So, when you look at the complete picture that's why I gave it five stars. I mean $166?! Yeah I'll give that five stars!

2 turbos. Each lasted 1 day a piece. First turbo had the turbine shaft break in half, second turbo the oil seals failed. Both lasted less than 20 miles.
