critical part (caliper bracket) was defective/damaged and not useable. this was not damaged in shipment since the missing portion was not in the shipping box. It was packaged as a box in a box and appeared like it had been previously returned based on the condition of the internal box. Caliper itself was fine. Vehicle needed to be returned to the owner ASAP so I reused the original bracket to get vehicle out the door on the road.
