This lock does not work for a 2010 Ram 3500 as described.

I used the SFY brand on the driver side and it fit and functioned perfectly and had strong material.Not this one though, this one is junk. Nothing fit like it should. I had to adjust the door striker just to get the door to close and the latch got stuck multiple times still, the cheap material they used stripped out incredibly easily. Sometimes it locks itself when someone tries to open the door from the outside for some reason, it also has the extra mechanism that would normally attach to the rod that goes to the lock cylinder on the door handle but my truck didn’t come with a keyhole on the passenger side so that bit is just jingling around in there when I drive and it’s incredibly annoying, I don’t know if maybe they sent the wrong one or what but for my application it’s completely useless to have unless you have a base model truck with a passenger keyhole. The only thing it actually does properly is locking when you use your fob or door switch even though it sounds weak but if I could go back I would avoid this brand at all costs and just spend the little bit more for the SFY brand like I did for the driver side

The power unlock part of my original one stopped working. The hardest part of the install is working in the awkward tight space and the clips.

I ordered the one for the same year as my truck which is a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, but when I removed the part from my truck it didn’t match the replacement so I went back to Amazon website and checked the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 replacement it matched perfectly, so I ordered it, installed it and it works great.

Easy to install . Works great . Tiny bit louder than the original but I’m not constantly hitting lock unlock so who cares . Door shuts tight and actually easier than the factory did . 5 stars . Oh and Napa wanted $140 for same part ….

Once I put it on which was very diffilcult with one of the bars,the door dosent close right it feels tight but o well its already on. Not going to take it off I know next time to order Authentic instead of chinese Not good.
