Used this in my wife's Rogue. Installation was a major PITA but not the product's fault. The fit and quality seemed similar to the OEM part, and has been working fine for a couple months now.

The product itself is well built, but did not fit my NIssan Rogue. The cable that leads to the handle is about an inch too short, and would not install correctly. I compared to the OEM part (which I had taken out of the vehicle) and the cable length did not match.This product was an unfortunate waste of an afternoon.

Door latch farted each time unlocked. Sounded like stripped gear. Watched video to get full picture of removal and replacement. Dealer wanted $250 labor and $350 for the part, plus shop, tax, etc. for total = $650. For $40 it was easy and straightforward. I have now replaced three (3) doors (passenger front and both rear doors), and I bought the driver's door latch, because I know it will need replacing down the road and $40 for insurance is cheap. I have saved $1,800 for 3 doors ($2,400 when I replace the driver's door) by DIY. Also, make sure to get left or right front or back door. Each one is specific.

I can't attest to the longevity of this part, but it was virtually identical to the part I pulled out of my 2010 Nissan Rogue Krom driver side front door. Installation was a little challenging with my limited car knowledge, but a youtube video helped me out. My door now opens without having to jam a rod down the window gap to assist.

Mechanic informed me that the device unlocks right after the lock function is engaged. A fix had to be performed and extra get charge on install.

Fit was perfect but actuator works in reverse. When lock button in pressed, new actuator unlocks. Wehen unlock pressed, new actuator locks door. Right now, my vehicle doesn't remain locked.A new actuator needs to be bought. Very disappointed 😞

Not sure if they shipped me the wrong product, but this item most definitely does not fit a 2015 Rogue base model.Upon completing the install, I checked the function of it (thankfully before reassembling). Turns out the cable that runs from the actuator to the handle (to open the door from the outside) is in too short a position when the plastic end pieces are clipped into the door handle seating.So the handle barely moves at all when you try to open it, maybe 30% of it's usual range, and when I inspected it, it looks as if even in the 'closed' handle position (ie when not pulling it), the actuator is in the 'open' position - in other words it wouldn't even latch to the door frame.Disappointed as it would have saved me hundreds getting it from the dealership, but what can one expect for 60 bucks CAD.

Just installed it. Solved the problem, does the job. But this one makes the door lock little noisy like steel sound, and the handle is 10-15% harder now,but not so much noticeable. Don't know about longevity yet, but for the price no complain
