The pump lasted less than 2 months, pure garbage, left me stranded in the middle of a freeway, replaced back with original which wasn't as good but still worked and my car ran fine, DONT BUY IT

I recently installed this fuel pump in my 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5L, and I really like this. Installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly without any modifications. The pump itself feels durable and well-built.What I liked:- Easy Installation: The instructions were clear, and it only took me about 45 minutes to swap out the old pump. I didn’t need any special tools, and the fit was exact.- Solid Build Quality: The fuel pump feels sturdy, and I appreciate that it includes all the necessary components like the gasket and strainer.- Performance: After installation, my car started right up and ran smoothly. No hesitation, stalling, or engine misfires. It’s been running great for the last few weeks. What I didn’t like:- Fuel Line Fitting: The fuel line didn’t click into place as easily as I expected, and I had to use a little extra effort to make sure it was secured. This could be due to the fuel line connectors being slightly different from my original setup, though it wasn’t a major issue.- Noise Level: Initially, I noticed a slight humming noise when the pump is working. It’s not too loud, but I wasn’t expecting it, as the original pump was much quieter.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It saved me quite a bit of money compared to the OEM part and performs just as well. I would highly recommend this pump to anyone with a Nissan who’s looking for an affordable, reliable replacement.

Didn't really need a new fuel pump, but the Fuel Gauge kept reading "Full" all the time - 95% of the time, that problem is due to the float apparatus on the in-tank Fuel Pump not working. However, in the case of our Altima with >230k on it, replacing the fuel pump did not cure this particular problem. That said, the existing fuel pump had over 130k miles on it, and replacing the fuel pump was not an unreasonable expense or effort anyway; I wasn't going to sell the car without trying to fix the fuel gauge problem, and if it ends up with a new, reliable fuel pump, so be it. The instructions were right on the money (not that you can't find YouTube videos all over the Internet), and you just go in from the top by removing the rear seat. Be sure to do this carefully - have a fire extinguisher handy, ground yourself, and work carefully. Good luck.
