Cheap Chinese junk. Drain plug would not stop leaking. Plug did not have a crush washer so I added one. Still kept leaking. Even used my other pan’s plug. Still leaked. The surface for the drain plug to press against the pan is not even flat. Now I’m going to weld a 19mm nut to the pan so the plug will have something nice and flat it can seal against. This wasn’t supposed to be a welding project. Would not buy this pan again. Telling all of you not to buy this pan either.

I’m currently adding a turbo to my build, and wanted a second pan for me to weld the drain bung. It looks the same as my original which was great. Welded the drain to it, mounted to the car and it was great. Tried to crank the engine for checking of oil pressure, and I was getting nothing. Turns out my factory oil pick up, was smashed in the bottom of the pan, so no oil was getting sucked up. Sadly, I tried to dent the pan, couldn’t because it’s pretty good steel. So I had to unbolt the pickup, and smash that a bit upward to be able to work. But because I had already mounted it, now I need a new gasket (because of how you’re suppose to use the gasket and Hondabond).Fortunately, it does fit, and so long as you test fit beforehand to figure out your oil pickup situation and double check the flatness (mine was fine even after welding my drain fitting to it). Also, making sure you use the correct gasket (I used genuine Honda gasket), and you’ll be fine to install and use.

Bought to replace the stock oil pan on my EF hatch that was getting pretty rusty. The pan itself is good, mounts flush, all the bolt holes line up properly. However, the drain plug when I got it was torqued way too tight and the crush washer had mushroomed out as a result. I installed a new drain plug and had no issues after that. Also the finish on the pan definitely leaves something to be desired. Any errant touch with a tool or hardware results in a very obvious scratch. Overall though, it works fine for the money.

Have not installed yet but does appear to be of good quality, fair price and fast shipping. As of this moment I would recommend we'll see if that changes after install.
