The valve cover set was complete with all needed gaskets. It lined up and fit the engine perfectly and has the engine running smooth. The gaskets it comes with are not Fel-Pro quality but are very adequate to stop any leakage of oil. The valve cover is well made and looks like the OEM part in thickness and design.Highly recommend

Lasted only about three weeks before it started leaking oil. Extremely disappointed—it feels like a complete waste of money. Missed the return window, so now I'm stuck having to buy a better one elsewhere.

This is an excellent product that fit perfectly on my 2010 Mazda 5. It came with the rubber gasket securely installed on cover . Before removng the old valve cover, remove the 4 coils and blow air down into the spark plug tubes if you are going to remove the spark plugs. After you get the cover iff clean the surface of all traces of old gasket. When installing, start all of the small bolts including the 4 more unexpected bolts in the middle section of the cover first to ensure perfect alignmrnt then tighten them equally. If your old valve cover is stuck pry up on it at the front edge with a crowbar - use a small wood block like a small piece of a 2 x 4 sitting on the front motor mount the pry the front edge. Uf ut does nit come off look again for hidden bolts still holding it.

item was new, and looked verisimilar however improperly manufactured original was 10.18MM thick this one was 9.74MM, seald for a few weeks but eventually leaked. not enough clamping pressure on the rubber gasket. no one to call or email about this issue, Leasson Lurned cost 68 bucks.

Great quality. Came with gaskets installed and new PVC valve so that was about 12 bucks you don't need to spend. It installed perfectly with tight fit. Only thing you need to add is oil cap and stand offs for the GTI engine cover. If you have a 10mm socket I recommend 1/4 inch drive this can be installed in about an hour. You may also consider new coil packs and spark plugs. You have to remove the coil packs so if you are already this far why not. The only thing that the cover does not come with is the left wire tie downs. And removing them for you old cover is nearly impossible.

The VC has a big opening that is NOT in the current VC coming off of the vehicle.
