The eccentric or little arm that connects the transmission to the motor was a bit longer and taller than my oem one. This caused the linkage to slightly hit the top/rear of the cowl where it is located. The longer eccentric also caused the wipers to wipe too far. I ended up swapping my old one onto this linkage and that solved the problem.

Fit well, didnt need to modify anything for my b5 2001 Audi A4 Avant. I needed to replace this because one of the splined wiper arm bolt downs got stripped and wasnt gripping the wiper arm anymore, I likely re-installed the wiper arm incorrectly at some point over the years which stripped both the bolt down node and the wiper arm itself... so learn from my mistake and make sure you have it seated all the way. You need to transfer your existing wiper motor over to this linkage and need to pop off the 2 arms off the motors arm. I did opt to keep the factory arm over the one that came with this linkage, it was just a nicer piece over the cheaper made arm. Would buy again.

Installed on my B5 S4 and it works but I had to modify one of the plastics cups to prevent it to heat the body of the car
