I have a 2008 volvo S80. I purchased a blower removal tool for the job. The tool engaged properly and worked fine to remove the old blower, however it took more force than I expected.Likewise installing this new one took about the same amount of force... Unfortunately, this blower is not exactly the same as the oem blower. Instead of all 4 pins of the removal tool engaging, only 2 pins engaged. This resulted in the tool slipping, damaging a wire, and (I think) causing some distortion to the blower shaft. The part is now un-usable and unfortunately I put this job off long enough I am just past the return date. (prepare yourself it's a lot of work to replace that part).

Bought because of fast shipping. Didn’t come out ahead because didn’t fit and had to order a quality part from a quality parts store.

The first purchase worked well and lasted 6 months and suddenly then stopped working. This is the second time purchasing this item for my 2010 Volvo XC60. So i am giving it 3 stars for that reason. I could not return the product since it was out of the return date. I hope that this time it is not faulty.
