I purchased this item because my regulator went out. It took me a couple weeks to get around to installing it, which was a pain. It worked great for a whole two weeks. Now it seems the motor is out on it. My return window has closed so now I'm out the money.

I was a little hesitant to even try this project. As I was driving home and got on the interstate, I rolled up my passenger window. I then heard a loud pop. I looked over and my passenger side window and it then fell down into the door while I was driving. I had heard the cables will snap on the F150 and my truck is now 10 yrs old so I was getting ready for something like this to happen.I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the installation was and the part worked perfectly. I do have some experience with repairs on cars and stereo installation in cars but I think if you watch a video or two on YouTube, you also may be able to replace this yourself and save hundreds of dollars. The local car dealership quoted me over $500. I paid just over $100 for this part and was done in a little over an hour. Good value for the money.
