This worked perfectly! It took about 1.5 hours for me to install and some help from a second person. Before my car was making a very deep rattle sound, but after installing this it is completely gone. My old driveshaft had a cracked u joint . I'm very happy with this purchase.

bad balance, massive headache and huge waste of my time and sanity. They claim its better because it has servicable U Joints. Absolute junk. I will never buy another product from this company.

My wife's 2004 Subaru Outback had a bad U-Joint. If you know Subaru's, you know that the u-joints are not as easily replaced as they used to be, so I got a price to replace it at a local drive shaft shop. With 220K miles in it, I figured all 3 of the u-joints could stand to be replaced, and the cost to do that was more than the cost of this new drive shaft. So far, I am happy with it, although there does seem to be a very slight vibration which **might** be from the drive shaft (the frequency is higher than what I would expect from a wheel), but I can't specifically blame the new shaft. Overall, I am happy with the part - quality seems good, installation was easy (even though I am a shade-tree mechanic, and had to lie on my back under the car in the driveway to replace it, with my wife as "go-fer").

purchased by a Subaru parts manager, installed at a Subaru dealership, by a Subaru master technician. Functions exactly as the OEM part, all bolt holes lined up and matched. There may be a difference in the center joint style, some vehicles use a CV style center joint and some use a U-joint style, this part works for either shaft.installed on a 2003 Subaru Baja with 4EAT transmission (294k miles)
