This shifted nice and definitely a shorter throw but it hit the dash in my 99 cummins.

Item fits the transmission properly, when shifter is installed it hits dash. Compared to factory adapter it needs to be bent slightly more down towards the drivers position. Heated and bent my shifter to accommodate the lack of bend in the part.
