Description said it was compatible with 1989 Ford Econoline E-350. IT IS NOT!! Had to return. See my other review for the correct one for my Camper on this product: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CJY38TD7. That review has the four missing stars.

The Connector does not mate with the OEM connector in the dash - the sockets are too small and the pins were pushed out of the housing.Based on other reviews I am going to cut off the new connector and replaced it with the old connector.

Amazon fitment confirmed a fit for my 89 F150, false. Steering wheel pulled apart, now looking for another part.

Everything was fine until I opened the package. no real instructions or manual for wiring purposes, you have to rely on the old one being right and put it in the same way. But the bigger problem is that the pin connections are the wrong size and will not fit into the stock loom connector. No good, too late to return now and a waste of time and money.

Would have to majorly rework this item to get it to work properly. Best to not waste your time or money and go grab one from a junkyard for half the price.

The part is priced reasonably and advertised as being appropriate for a1986 Ford F150. At first inspection the item seemed to match my original in all aspects; however, performing a test fit yielded a major problem. The round female terminals in the electrical connector of the new part (10 of these terminals), appeared to be too small in diameter to accept the male ends of the steering column assembly of the truck. Removing one of the female terminals from the new part and attempting a test fit over one of the male terminals of the truck confirmed a diameter mismatch (very slight mismatch but enough to not allow fitment). Also, none of the female connectors are fluted/flared at the end so as to promote better alignment and joining of each of the ten terminals. At this point I had four available options. 1) send the part back and hope for a suitable replacement, adding another week to the repair; 2) attempt to use force in the form of channel locks to join the female and male connector ends together in hopes that the 10 female connectors would expand (they are slotted) and accept the male ends; 3) attempt to slightly expand each of the female terminals on the new part prior to joining; 4) splice the entire female connector from the old signal assembly to the new unit. Options 2 and 3 proved unsuccessful. Option 4 worked. All is now good and the newly installed (modified) assembly works. Would not recommend this part for the reasons stated.
