Cute little tank. I'm new to fish keeping so I thought I'd start small. The pump is inclosed which might be an issue but I wrapped the intake with aqua sponge. So nothing should get sucked up. The light can't be turned off. It has a few different settings but you can't turn the light off without the filter being off aswell. Which might not be good. Like I said, I'm still learning. It came with 2 intake straws. Wool stuff for cleaning and to add to the filter. I also drilled a hole in the lid for a plant, im using a pothos clipping. The space for the plant hole, because of the light, isn't very big. Maybe a 1 inch square. Overall it's good, i think. My betta seems very happy. He built a bubble nest this morning.

Great as a simple starter kit for a small desk-top tank. I would suggest this tank if you're looking to spruce up your office desk or a bookshelf with a betta fish, some small fish like tetras, or for shrimp. Due to the small size, you won't be able to keep any bigger fish.Having the LEDs and pump built-in make the tank a bit more seamless as everything is covered up and comes in one detachable piece through the tank cover. This also means you don't have to see a bulky filter sticking out and hurting the aesthetic of the tank. You could quite easily cover up the filter tube with some plants, giving you a relatively natural looking tank. The LEDs do a good job at illuminating the entire tank evenly, and includes the option to quickly cycle through various colors. The colors are limited however, and are a much less vibrant/colorful than in the images pictured, even in the dark. You can see how the included pictures show that there is just a slight different tinge of colorThe filter on the other hand is good; it's quiet and gentle, helping circulate and clean the water without much audible sound, also making it safe for very small fish fry or shrimps. It goes through a series of natural filter elements in the top. The pack includes a replacement filter tube and sponges. The actual quality of the tank seems good; the glass feels nice and sturdy and is well-sealed.The box it game in was well protected with foam.Overall I don't have any issues with the tank and think it's priced competitively considering the included lights and filter! Just note that the light's colors aren't nearly as pretty.
