Love this toilet! Comfy seat, easy to clean, great flush, and the self wiping blade is fantastic. Fairly easy to install except I had to modify the mounting bolt pattern and get an elbow for the water supply.

I did a lot of research on trailer RV toilets before upgrading our toilet to this new one. Iām super happy we did it and it was incredibly easy. But basically this toilet was great to use ,after installation ,a toilet just like home !Only flaw I a had to replace the flange bolt ,because it was a dometic 300 replacement where was the bolt at 10/ 4 o'clock replacement ,but that bowl was a 9/ 3 o'clock replacement ,I just used 2 x 1/4 inch x 2 inch lag screws. to replace the existing bolts, with washers ,with did well !after that it was perfect ,I also put an in line valve on the pex tubing ,witch went ok ,after all , very good toilet china bowl ,clean and very good flush!I would certainly buy again !!!

Im a journeyman plumber, so I buy this PLUS toilet. Thinking by the pictures that it's comparable to an RV elongated toilet. The bowl is bigger. But, the seat has the same inside dimensions as the old plastic one had! Exactly the same! So there's no more room for the boys than the old toilet! And the wasn't anything wrong with the old toilet except it's too small for big people! What a scam! Don't buy a thetford toilet. Try another brand. Until they can make a seat that's as open as the bowl. Don't waste your money!

They said it would fit the space but did not had to send it back and that cost me $75.00

This replaced the original Thetford toilet on a 2006 RV. It has the appearance of a residential toilet. Well built. Instructions were clear. Easy to install with one caveat (see below). And while not an issue with the toilet, be aware that your old sponge ring may remain in place on the flange after you remove the old toilet. Don't forget to remove it before installing the new toilet. Our new Thetford wouldn't seat fully at first because I left the old sponge seal ring in place. Doh....Placement and securing the toilet was easy. Had no leaks. This model has a molded plastic shroud that wraps around the base of the toilet. You remove that during install. It's the surface you see immediately behind the pedal. The caveat I mentioned above is that when putting the shroud back in place (you remove it for installation), it's a bit of a tight fit. There is a velcro-like patch above and behind the pedal on the base and a corresponding piece of "velcro" on the shroud. Make sure this is secure or the pedal will scrape against the plastic shroud. Securing the shroud on the rear or the toilet are two rubber O-rings. Smaller one near the top. Larger one closer to the floor. Take a moment to be sure your pedal has clearance. If not, apply some pressure to the front of the shroud and push it up a bit. The pedal should not contact the shroud when the pedal is at rest. Then keep the pressure on and you move your hands around each side and to the back, where you'll use the O-rings to secure the shroud. Took me two or three tries to get it on correctly, but worked out well. No trimming needed. But the pedal clearance was minimal. In the end, we are happy with it. The install went much easier than I was expecting and it looks nice. Thank you Thetford.
