Rotate the camera on the AquaPod Mini to easily take self-portrait images. Easy to use and hold steady, the AquaPod Mini extends from 15.5 inches (39cm) to 38 inches (97cm). It is particularly travel friendly because its collapsed size easily fits into a briefcase or carry-on luggage. To shoot still images with a Sea Life camera and the AquaPod Mini, simply set the camera to “SPY” mode, allowing it to automatically shoot at set time intervals. For videos, set the camera to video mode and start shooting. For best results, make smooth and gentle movements so the lens stays focused on your subject. The AquaPod is non-corrosive and resistant to salt water, unique among other handheld "selfie sticks" and monopods. The AquaPod Mini includes a wrist strap and a mount for GoPro cameras.

It is durable and long but too long that if I clip it on to my D ring its not a good idea (what I mean is if you shorten the thing it's still long) I wish it will be like half of the size when it's shorten.

Asked if this would be invisible with 360 cameras and someone said it would...its most definitley not. The base where the camera attaches is a bit bigger and shows as a black circle in videos/photos. Maybe you can avoid if you angle it but if you want to do any kind of super wide/tiny planet style shots it will be in the video. Big bummer because the construction of this is really nice and easy to open/close/extend the stick unlike the invisible selfie stick.

Das Stativ wird bei mir nie als Einbeinstativ benutzt, sondern dient dazu, eine Nikon 1 AW1 Unterwasserkamera vom Ufer aus unter Wasser zu bringen um per Selbstauslöser Fotos zu machen. Die Bastellösung, die ich vorher benutzte, war zwar noch etwas besser dazu geeignet, aber leider nicht rostfrei und ziemlich instabil. Jetzt muss ich aber keine Angst mehr haben, die Kamera zu verlieren. Für den "normalen" vorgesehenen Einsatz ist das Teil sicher sehr gut geeignet und macht trotz des geringen Gewichts einen hochwertigen Eindruck.

Hat den ersten Urlaub perfekt überstanden. Sehr gute verarbeitung. Auch unterwasser (Salzwasser) aufgabe erfüllt. Einsatz mit Panasonic DMC-FT5!!! Auch geeignet für Actioncam(adapter vorhanden)

I used this pole with my GoPro Hero4 Silver on 5 dives in St Thomas in February. It worked really well for getting the camera up close and personal with fish, coral and an octopus. I have only one complaint: the wrist lanyard is petmananetly attached to the handle. I would have rather they had an eye on the end that I could attach my tether to. I rigged up a satisfactory solution, but that one gripe cost them a star. Otherwise, this is a great product

Easy to use. Works beautifully underwater. Great for getting close photos/videos without having to physically get too close to creatures. Very steady for good photos.
