3 star Seems solid haven’t used it but didn’t receive everything that’s suppose to come with tent. 🙃Edit- 2 star After using this tent, i wish it was a little better, it got a little wet from Washington Due so the waterproofing was mid at best. And it was pretty hard to breathe I wish it was like 2 ft longer had better waterproofing and better breathability not sure if it was hard to breathe because I put my equipment above my head. Other than that it’s a good idea. They have a good start to something that’s a good idea.

Didn't receive tent pegs but willing to overlook since I have several of my own. Would have given 5 stars but for that.

Product isn't bad. It does not come with tentstakes. As well I used it outside in Hawaii and it rained on us for about 4 hrs. After about the first hour the rain started leaking through the material.

The material gets saturated in the rain and the water starts to soak through into the inside of the bivy. And that was in the garden after only a short time raining. So imagine yourself out on the trail in persistent rain. Also the stiffener in the door flap was twisted out of shape in the stuff sac and it would not go back to the correct position. This means that the zip was not covered properly which creates another vulnerability in rain. Also the footbox is such an odd design. If you peg the flaps out at the end it is too tight on the feet and there isn't really a way to get it into a more suitable position. Lack of lifters etc. I tried different things but nothing worked. I wanted this product to work as I liked the side entry and hoop design but there are too many design flaws in addition to the waterproofing issue (which possibly could be mitigated with some waterproofing spray etc. But it should be waterproof out of the packet). Also it is too expensive for what it is. So a no from me. Returned.

Lightweight and easy to assemble.. yes. Waterproof.. not at all. This tent is about as water resistant/proof as a paper bag.

Missing pieces, no instruction manual, a corner spike loop is detaching, not waterproof.+ It seems like there are pieces missing. 5 Al tent spikes, bivy tent, 1 elastic tent pole, and 3 containment bags. There are more loops on the tent, seemingly vacant of tent poles or something.+ No instruction manual.+ After 3 hours of completed placement, the right foot-end loop is detaching from the bivy corner. Wind 5 mph.+Waterproofing disproven. Rain resistant, yes; not proofed. Also, water from ambient humidity enters vent, then coolness condenses the water upon fabric and everything in bivy. Nothing is waterproof. If it is, then it is insufficiently ventilated.Day 1, env. conditions:74°F, Sunny, not a single cloud, very windy gusts (15-20mph max) to none, Texas, nonwet hard-sand ground.Unwrapped tent and components. Pushed 1 tent pole through loops into ground. Solid. Continued to the 4 remaining. Solid, absolutely. Pushed through 1 elastic structural pole. A bit nervous it might break. Solid. Unzipped, entered, layed down, dwelled for 30 minutes. Windy cndtns failed to remove planted spikes, ventilation is adequate, given my locale under the unshaded direct Texas winter sun. May need a pad to protect floor from rocks, sticks, or some other unseen or wind-driven object arriving underneath. Observing floor, noticed the structural support strap - assumingly engineered to absorb the force from the structural pole - is not absorbing all the tension from the pole. The force is also transferred to the floor membrane. Hopefully the joints' reinforcement tape and seems will hold over time.I like the presence of integral mosquito net, ventilation, minimalistic volume, low weight, and stealthy color.I do believe their should be closeable vents at the foot, for a wind-tunnel effect on hot days, and shut in those cold.Day 22, env con:Range~(60,85)°F(sunny,drizzle)[~(0,35)MPH (Constant, jerking)]winds(Day,Night)Texas, semi-hard sand.Spiders prefer housing beneath the flaps, but for some reason not the vent. Good thing for the bug net AND rain flap cover with double zipper. Leave you rain flap open during sun drenched hours to dry innards, close before sundown to prevent or reduce innards' water condesates from accumulating. All seems holding after at least 3 long events of gale force winds and gusts. Hard mat or footprint required. About my area are grassy sprouts of hard, spikey grass shoots. A doublefolded tarp, properly placed, was nominal for diverting shoots from hole poking the bivy bottom.I would suggest selling this tent to include a simple roll of hard durable plastic. Increased price, of course, but worth the cost of searching for a hard plastic roll on my own with no results. Maybe like an HDPE roll of thickness 1/16 or 1/8 with length and width exact to bivy bottom. I am not an engineer, just a thinker.Day 100It's hot AF in bivy during day. Tonight, being surprisingly cool, is still hot in this bivy. Can't get any ventilation, without a wide open flap. Open flap exposes my skin onto the integral bug net, which lies directly on skin. Skeeters bite through net. What does that mean for spiders and ticks...? The rubber bottom rubs off with every shifting movement, leaving little rubber "rolling pins" everywhere.I'll very likely just buy a single person Walmart tent. Vibrant colors, but at least I'll reduce the chance for catching disease or a necrotic spider bite.Walmart single person tent is soooo much better. Verily.

This thing is light weight, packs down easily and is so easy to set up.It's waterproof - I was rained on heavily and water did not come through. However, it did pool in places and only time will tell of the waterproofing will last.Condensation - it was 3oc so condensation is to be expected. My sleeping bag was slightly damp - specifically down at my feet - but not damp enough to make it through the outer layer of my sleeping bag.All in all its well made, you can sleep under the stars, and it will be more than satisfactory as a 3 season tent/shelter option.

The tent I received weighed in at 2lb 4.3oz and the breakdown is as follows:Tent - 1lb 10.4oz5 Stakes - 3.0oz /0.6oz ea5-Segment Frame - 4.0oz3 Storage Bags - 2.9oz———————Total Weight. - 2lb 4.3ozThe tent is made of 70D ripstop nylon Fabris with laminated PU & DWR coatings. As well as, heat taped seams. The tent came with no instructions on how to setup or breakdown. What I liked about this bivy is that it is a minimalist design. No frills .. just the spartan needs of a hiker with no bells or whistles. On a nice evening, the door/window opens up almost half of the tent’s upper surface. Great for ventilation, fresh air and a view. Setup is rather easy. However, you have to stake down this bivy as with most. So no pop-up and jump I’m style, weather permitting. This is very common among bivy style tents. The stakes are Aluminium and so better suited for a broader range of terrain. The tent is small but adequate in size and solely for resting and winding down. The construction seems to be good and I didn’t note any defects or issues with the stitching or the zippers. What I didn’t care for about this tent is the same issue you have with most, top entry doesn’t work well for bad weather. However, I usually a tarp for the ground or as a rain fly if needed. This is probably not my Go-to tent if I know in-climate weather is possible. But, IMO, I use this mostly for nicer, warmer days where it makes the most sense. The zipper door/window has a plastic runner guard or hood/cowl that protects the zipper area a bit from rain and it is misshapen and warped from packing. Not sure if that is going to actually straighten out until it gets warm.I haven’t had the chance yet to test it in the rain but will update the review. Once I have had it out on the trail.I was unable to locate a warranty either in the product information or item description.I received this item for an honest review. All in all, I think this is a well designed bivy style shelter. It is minimalist and spartan so don’t expect much more than that. It has a adequate room for 1 person. Great shelter as far as I can tell. I will update the review if anything changes. This product is designed in Canada and made in Taiwan.
