I have four 75-gallon tanks and these are used as check valves for the air lines. Fit perfectly and work great. A good value for the price.

I've only used one out of the package so far and it seems to be doing what it should be doing. As I have not had this in service for very long I cannot comment on durability, but for now it's keeping reflux in the tube from happening.

These are pretty typical of this style of check valve. There is no whistling from typical airflow and it does operate in the single direction only. This is good to prevent water from siphoning into your air pump during a power outage. Every air pump should use check valves, and they are inexpensive enough that there really isn't any reason not to use them.I would not recommend these for CO2 applications. You should really use check valves that are designed for CO2 when that is needed.I would've liked to see barbed ends to prevent hoses from disconnecting, but small spring clamps can be used on them if you need.There is really not a lot more to add on this one. They function like they are supposed to, and the price is reasonable. There is nothing about these that would prevent me from recommending them to others.

Got this not for a fish tank. My spouse got it for custom turbine our son car. It works good,haven't had any issues
