I recently purchased two. When I opened the package, one was cracked in the middle. I like the feel. I work with some acids, so it works for that.

These were much more sturdy than I expected. They are not just typical cheap molded plastic. They have some sort of metal inserts to allow them to be sturdy. The plastic felt more like silicone to me and these look like they will hold up well. Plan to use these to clean mineral specimens in harsh acids that would eat away at metal tongs/tweezers.

Coated tongs, mean no rust. 12 inch length means I don’t need my entire fore arm in the tank to make easy adjusts/moves. Highly recommend.

I had purchased these to feed my young water turtles ..I like that its large and blue so that it doesn't look like my fingers... for a while they were identifying food with my hands .. this helped me because now I can pick them up without them thinking food is always attached to my hand. having it this color helps them to associate with the blue straight thing and for me it helps to care for their needs.. it holds the food well its grippy enough that you can give them small pieces of food that it grips onto the food and can be used to reach over in the tank without it slipping or dropping out and its good value for the price.... recommend.

They feel nice and soft, the silicone is squishy and protects against rust, BUT the actual tongs are wobbly. As in when you try to close the tongs with any force as to grab something, the tong “arms” bow in toward each other in the middle instead of the tips pressing together harder. So no actual grabbing power. The silicone cover is so soft that it really doesn’t grab on to things even light objects like small frag plugs. I’m sure if you’re feeding flake food with these, they're great but not so for much else.

Much better quality than expected, sturdy high quality (not flimsy or thin plastic like I initially anticipated). In the saltwater tank hobby, stainless steel tools will eventually rust, so this is a great alternative. I don't know why more aquarium enthusiasts don't use them!

It's big, that was my first impression. Probably not the best for feeding your delicate fishes, it's too heavy and bulky for that. But it has its uses. Because it doesn't rust, I use it to move around ornaments on my aquarium, the placement of floating plants, and pick up leftover food etc..because I just can't stop myself from moving around things on the aquarium. It's better than my filthy hands submerged on the aquarium, or worrying about rust.

Good for moving corals around and feeding fish..you do have to use quit a bit of strength to clamp them so kids dont like to use them to feed fish we bought a smaller one for kids to use and it works better but for adults this is great u can reach far down to feed fish some fish dont like to come up to surface to eat so that's where the small tweezers dont come in handy....
