The aquarium lamp is well made, has a nice mounting bracket and an inline remote control for intensity and a timer. The only issue is the head gets very hot being on for just 10-15 minutes.

Love this little light.It gets a bit warm, but not bad at all.Beautiful changeable (different hues) light, easy to use, great price. The build quality feels great, I don't remember a remote control coming with it but I could be mistaken. Overall this is an awesome little product.Only critique is that you can see the individual LEDS on it's projection.

I've bought 5 of these now for my nana cube aquariums and ponds. They are great. They look good and they feel solid. They are flexible and adjustable. I'll be buying more while the price is low.

This light works well for my fish tank. I got it because my old one broke (it was from some no-name brand i found on clearance at a hardware store). This one is much BETTER, and the metal parts are solid. The water in my tank really sparkles now, too. It's easy to install, just clamp it on and plug it in. You can adjust the angle of the light and even rotate the head 360 degrees so you can get the perfect lighting for your fish. i had a little trouble getting it fastened at first because i forgot which way the screws went, but once i figured that out it was smooth sailing (i blame my roommate for not teaching me how to use screwdrivers properly). The light itself is bright and the colors are nice. I like the blue-white setting the best, reminds me of those fancy coral reefs they have at the zoo.Overall, this is a solid choice for anyone looking for an aquarium light. It's well made, easy to use, and looks great in my living room. And hey, it makes my fish happy too! (i swear one of them winked at me last night). I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants their tank to look as good as mine.

I bought this light with low expectations. It was less than $20 on Amazon, and I really didn’t want this to power the growth of my plants, or even to like the entire aquarium, but to provide a spotlight that would create a shimmering effect, both under the water and on my ceiling. This light has done exactly that.If you came here looking for this to power your entire aquarium, unless it’s a nano tank, move on. Honestly, so far it’s a great product. The cord is a little short but it’s not a big deal.I saw one review that said it fails after a few months. I sure hope that’s not the case, so I’ll be watching out. But for the value, it’s great if you know what you’re doing.Another review mentioned the fact that it’s not quite made for rimmed tanks… that’s true. If you are handy, can think creatively, you can make it work. But if that’s not going to work for you, then find the right product.

I wanted a light that creates a natural habitat for the tank and it did what i was hoping for. My only complaint is the placement of the on and off button being so close to the end of the cord. My outlet is behind a desk so makes it difficult to control when changing the light or turning off or on
