It’s a struggle to put the lamp into the projector. Finally after I managed to install it, the image was so blurry that it’s unusable. Unfortunately in beyond the return period so cannot even ask for a replacement.

Very happy with the results. Let’s hope the bulb will last as long with the original one. Picture looks brighter. Excellent at a lighter room condition.

Only had it about three weeks but so far it made my projector as good as new.

Installation was quick and simple with the provided tool and glove. Projector recognized the new lamp and the lamp hour reset was problem free. Brightness is just as good as the OEM. After many actual hours of use over a few month it’s holding strong. Easier, quicker and lower cost than ordering the OEM. Would purchase again.

Lamp performed well but unfortunately only lasted less than a year. I reached out to Araca and they were very quick to respond and send me a replacement lamp even though it was passed the 200 day warranty. Fingers crossed the replacement lasts longer.

Like: Nice, clean and well packed bulb. Working just like the original bulb so far.Dislike: I ordered replacement part# BL-FU240A/SP.8RU01GC01 bulb for my Optoma projector. Instead I received part# BL-FU240A/8RU01-OBH bulb with no explanation as to why a different part# bulb. It took me some time to communicate with the seller who then wrote me an explanation that the bulb I received is the correct bulb but with a slightly different part#. Perhaps, they could have included this explanation in the packaging. They were, however, very courteous and helpful.

I received this bulb and found there was a part broken on it, so I contacted the seller on FB messenger and they sent a free replacement. Since then, the bulb has been working very well!

I spent some time trying to find the best option to replace the bulb in my Optoma GT1080 Darbee projector. It appears that you can either pay $200+ directly from the OEM, or you can take your chances on here or elsewhere for something close to or similar. I installed this bulb in August 2021 and a year later, it is still going strong. However, I did notice, unless my eyes are getting worse, that the brightness and 'pop' compared to the original bulb wasn't quite right. It may also be due to the projector just being older than when I bought it new. Nevertheless, the bulb still works a year+ later and I use the projector on a regular basis to watch TV and sports.

Received and installed today into my Optoma HD29darbee projector. I was pleasantly surprised to find an actual OSRAM lamp inside the housing as per the products description. I checked the lamp against several OSRAM counterfeit checking websites and its the real thing. I have had some experience with counterfeit projector lamps over the years.UPDATE: Something I did not notice originally is that the ARACA lamp has a smaller light shield than the Optoma original lamp. There is a small light gap (see picture) on the edge of the shield. This shows a brighter band of light vertically down the middle of the screen about 10 inches wide at 10 feet distance. There is a easy fix though. I took a strip of tin foil about 1/4 larger than the shield on all sides and folded it six times flat to make it stiff. I then put it over the shield and folded the edges over flat to maintain the airflow but block the light leakage.UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Araca has bent over backwards to fix this problem and sent me another lamp that I can fit to my original Optoma lamp housing. They are aware of the issue with the light leak and have corrected the problem at the factory level. I have not seen this level of support from a company in so many years.

So far (only about 10 hours in on life) the bulb is just as bright if not brighter then the original bulb. Came ready to install. Bulb was in the housing and even included extra screws so did not have to reuse the OEM. Overall great purchase and will buy again next time I need a bulb for my GT1080Darbee.Updated: After 6000 hours, bulb is starting to DIM but has been a great bulb and well outlasted the 4500 hour life. Has been 100% worth the purchase.
